Clae: "The Bailey" Video + Contest

The Bailey by Clae pays homage to Gil Bailey, “the Godfather” DJ and voice of Caribbean radio in New York City who has been educating and entertaining Saturday morning listeners for more than 40 years.

From Phil Schapp's Thelonious Monk birthday celebration broadcast on WKCR, Rap Attack on Friday nights with Mr. Magic and Marley Marl on WBLS, DJ Red Alert on KISSFM, those late thrusday nights on WKCR with Stretch and Bobitto and all of the memorable Saturday mornings with Bailey, what’s playing on the radio has often provided much of the soundtrack of our lives.
